Adam has spent 45 years nurturing artists, capturing performances, creating great music and mentoring music makers.


He began his career in 1978 at the legendary Trident Studios, London (The Beatles, Bowie, Queen, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, T Rex) and quickly became an engineer, mixer and record producer.


Music credits include: Rush, KISS, Tina Turner, The Buggles, Rod Stewart, Nico, Earth, Wind and Fire, Mick Ronson, The Sex Pistols, Visage, The Cure, The Blow Monkeys, Transvision Vamp, Roxette, Wet Wet Wet,, Richard Marx, Maxi Priest, Galliano, Michael Brecker, Branford Marsalis, Hoagy Carmichael, Bill Bruford, Baaba Maal, Lucybell, U2, Beck/Jack White, Nikka Costa/Lenny Kravitz/Prince, Wolfmother, Zopa, Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol) and several albums and movie scores with John Cale (Velvet Underground).


Film/TV scores and credits include “The Big Wedding”, “The Americans”, “True Blood”, “The Son”,”Smokin’ Aces”, “The Yankles”, Oscar nominated movie “The Dark Valley and Spike Jonze/Nick Zinner (“I’m Here”).


Adam was the Associate Producer, Music Supervisor, Music Consultant and Music Mixer for “The Terry Kath Experience”.


Adam is known for his skills in song arrangement and instrumentation, and his ability to nurture, direct and achieve exceptional performances from the artists with whom he works. Adam incorporates his vast range of experience from tracking with classic Trident, Neve and API consoles to utilizing the latest ProTools HD and Ableton Live technology and various recording/mixing systems. With such a vast wealth of experience to draw from, Adam is able to adapt and apply the appropriate knowledge, techniques and colours to very diverse records, styles and artists… and pursue his concept of 3D dimensional sound in music production, arrangement and mixing.


Adam is endorsed by Plugin Alliance, Barefoot Sound speakers, Ableton Live, Trident Audio and Ollo-Audio headphones. He is based and actively working from Accidental Studios in Los Angeles.


Since 2017, Adam has been part of the faculty at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music and was very involved in the development of the Music Industry program, which is now offered as a Major or Minor degree. Adam teaches two courses on The Art of Music Production. Prior to this, Adam was part of the Music Business Program at UCLA Extension since 2012.



Adam has taught a masterclass in Music Production at the Berklee School of Music’s post grad facility in Valencia, Spain and is currently mentoring post grad students from Berklee Valencia. He has also mentored students in the Fender mentorship program.


Adam will be a speaker/panelist at NAMM 2024. He has also been a panelist for AES, the LA Film School and he presented “The Future of Sync” panel at A2im’s conference in New York.


In 2019, Adam co-founded and became CEO and Head of A&R at Accidental Entertainment, a music licensing/sync, publishing and artist development company, representing 140+artists from across the world.


And now, he brings years of experience to continue to develop and nurture composers, artists and songwriters and help create fantastic music in all genres.
